Project Statement
An exploration of blue tones and textures to represent the Arctic Circle.
A majestic place filled with penguins, polar bears, and Earth's most abundant resource, water.
A reminder to take care of the world that provides so much beauty... to be the change you want to see in the world.
Don't be frozen in fear, be Hyperfrost.

Shoe Surgeon x Steve Burstyn
After the concept was finished, there was a worldwide vote on Instagram to select one concept to be re-crafted and sold on The Shoe Surgeon website.
After about a week of voting, I won the competition!

Final thoughts
I feel proud of this project because it challenged my design abilities and I learned how to make a shoe from scratch. There's no greater feeling than taking something from concept to reality.
The 5,000+ likes and dozens of comments supporting the design were just the cherry on top.
